How Much Landscape Rock Do I Need?

Start with the area
Measure length times width for each bed, side yard, strip, or pathway. For irregular areas, break the space into smaller rectangles and add them together.
Pick the depth
Two inches is common for many decorative rock installs. Larger rock or areas with fabric and slope may need a different depth, so share photos if you are unsure.
