Size and finish
What to expect
DG contains fine particles that compact more tightly than decorative gravel. Final tone and texture can vary by source yard, moisture and load.
Sands and DG
Gold DG
Gold DG is decomposed granite with a gold appearance for garden paths, side yards and natural-looking patio transitions. It can be installed loose or ordered with stabilizer when a firmer pedestrian surface is preferred.
Listed material price
$85 / Yard
With stabilizer: $123 / Yard
Delivery is quoted separately based on address, access, truck availability, and order size.
Coverage
How much to order
One cubic yard covers about 162 square feet at 2 inches deep or 108 square feet at 3 inches before allowances for settling, compaction and uneven grade.
Selection tip
Before you request delivery
Plan edging, drainage and compaction before delivery. Stabilizer helps many foot-traffic areas but does not replace correct base preparation.
Delivery planning
Send the delivery city, address, gate notes, and dump location. Photos help when wires, slopes, trees, or narrow access may affect truck placement.
Quantity help
If you do not know the exact yards or tons, message length, width, desired depth, and a few photos. The team can help estimate before delivery.
